The António Pargana Foundation is looking for young people who believe in the power of culture, education and the connections between people to make a difference.

If you’re over 18, are in higher education and want to make an impact at your university and in your community, this is your chance.

Join the first generation of FAP Ambassadors and help us promote the Portuguese language, culture and identity further afield.

We are looking for people who create opportunities!

Students who want to rally their peers, organise initiatives, champion a meaningful cause and build bridges between students, institutions and communities.

Over the course of the academic year, you will be the face of the António Pargana Foundation at your educational institution, contributing to projects that bring young people together, strengthen ties with the Portuguese-speaking world and promote more active and engaged citizenship.

What will I be doing as an Ambassador?

As a FAP Youth Ambassador, you will be able to:

– Promote programmes, initiatives and opportunities among your fellow students
– Take part in creating and promoting projects
– Help with the Foundation’s communications
– Contribute to the growth of the FAP community

What are the requirements?

We are looking for young students who meet the following conditions:

– Currently attending a higher education institution
– Be Portuguese-speaking or of Portuguese descent
– Have an interest in Portuguese culture, language and identity

Organização

A Fundação António Pargana (FAP), com sede na Praça Alvalade, Nº7, 8º direito – 1700-036 – Lisboa, Portugal, com o NIF. 517829037, organiza o “Programa de Embaixadores Jovens” que é regido pelos termos e condições constantes deste documento. A participação está sujeita ao cumprimento integral dos requisitos aqui estabelecidos e das demais normas legais aplicáveis.

A Fundação António Pargana tem como objetivo constituir um grupo de 50 jovens para representar a sua missão e divulgar os programas na sua Instituição de Ensino Superior e para sociedade em geral. Este programa visa, simultaneamente, proporcionar aos jovens recrutados oportunidades para desenvolver competências nos domínios da comunicação interpessoal entre pares, para o público em geral e institucional, bem como para reforço curricular e criação de networking.

Podem candidatar-se jovens que sejam:

  • Lusodescendentes ou lusófonos;
  • Maiores de 18 anos;
  • Atualmente inscritos numa instituição de ensino superior;
  • Interessados em promover a cultura, língua e identidade portuguesas;
  • Motivados para participar em iniciativas académicas, culturais e de networking;
  • Com espírito de responsabilidade.

As candidaturas estão abertas a partir do dia 10 de junho de 2026 até o dia 10 de julho de 2026 e devem ser submetidas através do Link

As candidaturas serão sujeitas a um processo seletivo, no qual representantes da FAP avaliarão a adequação ao perfil pretendido.

O programa tem duração de um ano letivo, tendo os embaixadores os seguintes direitos e deveres:

  • Cedência de imagem (fotografia, vídeo e voz) e de dados pessoais, tais como nome, morada, Instituição de Ensino Superior que frequenta/frequentou, para promoção das atividades da FAP na sua Instituição de Ensino ou para o público em geral, em suporte físico ou digital;
  • Representar a FAP na sua Instituição de Ensino, junto aos seus pares;
  • Colaborar na criação dos programas e comunicação dos mesmos;
  • Acompanhar e representar a FAP no programa da sua Instituição de Ensino;
  • Demonstrar sentido de compromisso e responsabilidade com o programa e com seus pares;
  • Participar no Programa para Embaixadores Jovens nos dias 25 e 26 de Setembro de 2026;
  • Assumir compromisso de confidencialidade relativamente a dados a que eventualmente possam ter acesso no exercício das funções.

  1. A FAP tem o direito de utilizar informações e a imagem pessoal dos/das embaixadores/as nos seus meios de comunicação, sempre de acordo com o regime previsto no regulamento (UE) nº 679/2016, de 27 de abril (regulamento geral sobre a Proteção de Dados) e demais legislação sobre proteção de dados pessoais;

  2. Todos os dados pessoais e elementos de imagem recolhidos no âmbito do processo de candidatura e da participação no Programa de Embaixadores Jovens da FAP destinam-se exclusivamente à prossecução das finalidades do referido programa;

  3. Todos os dados pessoais e de imagem (fotografia, vídeo e voz) serão conservados durante a vigência do Programa e pelo prazo de 2 (dois) anos após o seu termo, findo o qual serão eliminados ou anonimizados, salvo obrigação legal de conservação por período superior. A referida autorização é concedida a título gratuito e pode ser revogada a todo o tempo, nos termos do Anexo;

  4. A FAP pode, unilateralmente, fazer cessar a atividade do/a embaixador/a no âmbito do Programa Embaixadores Jovens, caso se verifique algum incumprimento dos deveres previstos nas orientações, notificando o embaixador jovem através dos meios que dispõe (E-mail e/ou Número de Telefone);

  5. Os embaixadores jovens e a FAP não constituem e nem titulam qualquer relação de trabalho subordinado ou de prestação de serviços, sendo a relação emergente da participação no programa regulada pelas normas das presentes orientações.

  6. Bases de licitude e finalidades: o tratamento dos dados pessoais e da imagem dos/das embaixadores/as funda-se no consentimento do titular e, quando aplicável, na execução de diligências pré-contratuais e do próprio, destinando-se exclusivamente às finalidades de organização, divulgação e promoção do Programa de Embaixadores Jovens;

  7. Responsável pelo tratamento: a Fundação António Pargana, NIF 517829037, com morada na Praça de Alvalade, n.º 7, 8.º direito, 1700-036 Lisboa, contactável para efeitos de proteção de dados através de geral@fundacaoap.pt;

  8. Direitos do titular: o/a embaixador/a pode, a todo o tempo, exercer os direitos de acesso, retificação, apagamento, limitação e oposição ao tratamento, bem como o direito à portabilidade e o direito de retirar o consentimento, sem que tal comprometa a licitude do tratamento efetuado com base no consentimento previamente prestado, assistindo-lhe ainda o direito de apresentar reclamação à Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD);

  9. Subcontratantes e Política de Privacidade: caso a FAP recorra a prestadores de serviços (subcontratantes) para o tratamento de dados, fá-lo-á mediante contrato que assegure as garantias previstas no artigo 28.º do RGPD; informação adicional sobre o tratamento de dados consta da Política de Privacidade disponível em https://fundacaoap.pt/politica-de-privacidade/.

1. Organisation

The António Pargana Foundation (FAP), with its registered office at Praça Alvalade, No. 7, 8th floor – 1700-036 – Lisbon, Portugal, with tax identification number 517829037, organises the “Youth Ambassadors Programme”, which is governed by the terms and conditions set out in this document. Participation is subject to full compliance with the requirements set out herein and with all other applicable legal regulations.

The António Pargana Foundation aims to establish a group of 50 young people to represent its mission and promote its programmes within its higher education institution and to society at large. This programme also aims to provide the young people recruited with opportunities to develop skills in the areas of interpersonal communication with peers, the general public and institutional audiences, as well as to enhance their academic development and build professional networks.

Applications are open to young people who are:

  • Of Portuguese descent or Portuguese-speaking;
  • Aged 18 or over;
  • Currently enrolled at a higher education institution;
  • Interested in promoting Portuguese culture, language and identity;
  • Motivated to participate in academic, cultural and networking initiatives;
  • With a sense of responsibility.

Applications will be subject to a selection process, during which representatives from FAP will assess whether candidates meet the required profile.

The program lasts for one academic year, and ambassadors have the following rights and responsibilities:

  • Transfer of image (photograph, video, and voice) and personal data, such as name, address, Higher Education Institution attended/attended, for the promotion of FAP activities at their Educational Institution or to the general public, in physical or digital format;
  • Represent FAP at their Educational Institution, together with their peers;
  • Collaborate in the creation of programs and their communication;
  • Accompany and represent FAP in their Educational Institution’s program;
  • Demonstrate a sense of commitment and responsibility to the program and to their peers;
  • Participate in the Young Ambassadors Program on September 25th and 26th, 2026;
  • Assume a commitment to confidentiality regarding any data that may eventually be disclosed to them. They can have access in the exercise of their duties.

  1. FAP has the right to use the information and personal image of the ambassadors in its media, always in accordance with the regime provided for in Regulation (EU) No 679/2016 of 27 April (General Data Protection Regulation) and other legislation on the protection of personal data;
  2. All personal data and image elements collected within the scope of the registration process and participation in the FAP Young Ambassadors Program are intended exclusively for the achievement of the purposes of said program;
  3. All personal and image data (photograph, video and voice) will be kept for the duration of the Program and for a period of 2 (two) years after its termination, after which they will be deleted or anonymized, unless there is a legal obligation to keep them for a longer period. The aforementioned authorization is granted free of charge and may be revoked at any time, in accordance with the terms of the Annex;
  4. FAP may unilaterally terminate the activity of the ambassador within the scope of the Young Ambassadors Program if there is any breach of the duties set out in the guidelines, notifying the young ambassador through the means available to it (Email and/or Telephone Number);
  5. The young ambassadors and FAP do not constitute or hold any subordinate employment or service provision relationship, the relationship arising from participation in the program being governed by the rules of these guidelines.
  6. Legal basis and purposes: the processing of personal data and image of the ambassadors is based on the consent of the data subject and, where applicable, on the execution of pre-contractual steps and the data subject themselves, and is intended exclusively for the purposes of organizing, disseminating and promoting the Young Ambassadors Program;
  7. Data controller: the Foundation António Pargana, Tax Identification Number 517829037, residing at Praça de Alvalade, nº 7, 8º direito, 1700-036 Lisbon, contactable for data protection purposes via geral@fundacaoap.pt;
  8. Data Subject Rights: The ambassador may, at any time, exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection to processing, as well as the right to data portability and the right to withdraw consent, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on the consent previously given, and also has the right to lodge a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD);
  9.
