On October 7th, the inaugural session of module 1 of the program “Portugal: from roots to the future, united by Lusophony” took place. This is a joint initiative of the António Pargana Foundation and the University of Minho aimed at young people of Portuguese descent.
The itinerary harmoniously combined the corporate dimension and the heritage of Portugal. The event began at Sonae’s headquarters, where participants had the opportunity to connect with one of the most important business and innovation ecosystems in the country, reflecting on the role of new generations in the economic and strategic development of Lusophony.
In the second part, the group visited a historic Port wine cellar, providing a cultural immersion in the national winemaking tradition. This moment highlighted the importance of preserving the memory and productive heritage that shape Portuguese identity in the world.
The first module thus consolidates the commitment to bringing the Portuguese-descendant community closer to its roots, simultaneously empowering it for the challenges of the future.
