INTRODUCTION
We live in challenging times. But Portugal, with all its apparent weaknesses — small, peripheral, lacking in major natural resources — continues to surprise with its resilience, stability and progress. This course from the University of Évora and the Antonio Pargana Foundation offers an integrated and up-to-date view of the country: from geography to politics, from history to economics, from society to the diaspora. In four face-to-face sessions, this course introduces university and pre-university students to the reality of what Portugal is, in fact, in the 21st century. The first session will take place on 14 September.
There is no cost to participate in this course.
