As part of initiatives aimed at Portuguese-descendant communities, the António Pargana Foundation and the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences (ISCSP) of the University of Lisbon promoted an immersive visit to the facilities of Sociedade Central de Cervejas e Bebidas in Vialonga on October 9th.
The initiative provided young participants with the opportunity to learn firsthand about the reality of one of the leading companies in the beverage sector in Brazil, discovering its history, production processes, and the importance of innovation in the development of the national industry.
Throughout the visit, participants had direct contact with the Brazilian business and industrial environment, deepening their knowledge of how an organization that combines tradition, knowledge, and modernization works. The experience also allowed them to understand the role of companies in the national economy and their contribution to Portugal’s projection.
More than an opportunity for discovery, this initiative constituted a moment of connection between young Portuguese descendants and the Portuguese economic and business reality, promoting the sharing of knowledge and strengthening ties with the country of their origins.
Through this collaboration with ISCSP, the António Pargana Foundation reaffirms its commitment to promoting experiences that bring new generations closer to their Portuguese roots, valuing knowledge, cultural identity, and the connection between Portugal and Portuguese communities around the world.
