The Foundation has been strengthening its collaboration with Portuguese higher education institutions, notably through the signing, on 29 July, of a memorandum of understanding with the Setúbal Polytechnic Institute (IPS), an event attended by Diogo Feio, a member of the FAP Board, and members of the IPS management team, the Rector, Professor Ângela Lemos, PhD, the Vice-Rector, Professor Carlos Mata, and the Pro-Rector, Professor Catarina Delgado.

This agreement aims to establish a framework for cooperation with a view to developing future initiatives in the fields of training, research, the dissemination of scientific knowledge and the promotion of knowledge, thereby strengthening the ties between Portugal and its diaspora.
